Yes, I am aware that the Doom Armory's front page links are decidedly broken. This is because of the way the site is presently set up - if you go to the DRD Team forums, you will find that the content still exists and can be accessed in this way. Please don't panic if the forum suddenly believes you are not logged in, as it is technically a different forum. You do not need to register on this "alternate" forum, as comments don't work either due to the forum being set as Read Only.

In short, yes, the Armory content still exists. Just use the forums.

After promising it...sometime last year, I've finally gotten around to resurrecting the Armory's reviews section with two new reviews. More on the way, as soon as I can find a mod that's actually in a state that I can review it.

With some noted exceptions, I'm getting pretty dissatisfied with the majority of weapon mods being released as of late. The problem, though, is that my "reviews for finished mods only" policy is really deteriorating, with the number of people who - gasp! - actively revise existing mods instead of just making new mods all the time.

So starting soon-ish, I will start writing reviews for more weapon mods as they are released. I will also be rehosting some of them that are hard to come by these days, like Zero Tolerance. I'm also going to be changing the format of the reviews a bit - I don't believe in the hard numbers and averages anymore, so each review will simply be a handful of paragraphs and a final score. The same care and diligence will be taken, however, to ensure that I've experienced everything that there is to experience about a mod, and that all points are covered.

Because dammit, I've had it with all the Alandoguns clones.
